I finally got a chance to visit Northland... and I was VERY PLEASED ;D
I came up for Private College Week, but my mom and I spent the weekend checking out the town and visiting Bayfield (and the Apostle Islands). When we first got there Saturday, we decided to peek at the campus and found out it was Alumni Weekend! Everyone was really cool about it, and they let us take a tour with some Alumni (who were also very nice). The school is VERY small, and even though I was expecting it, I was still a bit surprised. I liked it, but the idea of eventaully taking classes with 4 or 5 students in them sounds intimidating! The food was good, and I was really glad there were SO many options for meals (I can be picky!!). All around, the only big downer I recall experiencing was the drive - the scenery didn't exactly entertain me for four hours!
(Oh, and I am still upset by the lack of language classes at Northland).
But I would love to thank the students, alumni, and admissions counselors I met during my visit for being so helpful during my visit!!
